In 2020, I had the pleasure of working on the mix for two of Santi Muk’s songs: «Entre tus brazos» and «Cuando estás aquí». This project was a collaborative effort conducted remotely, led by producer Kevin Galeano. While Santi was based in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, we worked from Bogotá, Colombia, using digital tools to overcome the geographical distance and maintain constant communication throughout the process.
The main focus of this project was to create a sound that captured the emotional essence of each song, highlighting Santi’s introspective lyrics and the subtle instrumental textures that accompanied them. Through a detailed mixing process, we managed to enhance the warmth of the vocals and perfectly balance the production, achieving a cohesive sound that reflects the intimacy and depth of the compositions.
