Camilo Ibarra Trio is the musical project of three outstanding artists: Camilo Ibarra on guitar, Edgar Marún on double bass, and Camilo Bartelsman on drums. This trio has granted us the privilege of immersing ourselves in their latest album titled «Transeúnte,» an atmospheric and immersive masterpiece that takes us on a sonic journey influenced by Latin American sounds.
«Transeúnte» is much more than an album; it’s a sensory journey that fuses the rich memories of the Inca legacy with a contemporary discourse full of contrasts. The music on this record captures the essence of Nariño sounds while intertwining with the vibrant energy of Bogotá, creating a unique musical universe filled with authenticity and artistic taste.

Crafting a sonic landscape that honors jazz roots while enhancing every musical detail.
In the mixing process, I was meticulous and careful, paying special attention to preserving the dynamics and interpretive intentions of the musical genres fused in this project, particularly under the influence of jazz. Camilo Ibarra’s guitar, with its distinctive tone, was expertly mixed to become the lead instrument, guiding listeners through the album’s five captivating tracks.
