Between Sounds and Visions: The Creation of «Cielo» as a Bonus Track for «Solsticio y Equinoccio»
The recording of «Cielo» began at Audiovisión Studios, where we captured the instrumental essence in a memorable session. Although the vocals were left for later, we produced and recorded them together in my studio, allowing us to further develop the vocal nuances we were aiming for. It was then that Delasierra invited me to take on the role of mixing engineer for the song, an opportunity I fully enjoyed as I explored a unique and challenging musical fusion.
The mixing process was enriching in every way. We worked through a couple of sessions in my studio, where each adjustment of equalization, compression, and spatiality was carefully planned to highlight the artist’s vision. Working with Delasierra was incredibly smooth and natural, with constant communication that allowed us to make «Cielo» a memorable bonus track for his album, Solsticio y Equinoccio.
